On Friday September 24th my son Ryan graduated from Marine Corps Boot Camp at Parris Island SC. The last time I saw him was on June 28th. Graduation was the most incredible and emotional event I have ever experienced. There was not a dry in the crowd.... It made you PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
Ryan was promoted to Private First Class.. He was one of three in his platoon that received this honor.
Ryan was presented with the Marksmanship Award in recognition of outstanding performance in the United States Marine Corps Marksmanship Training Program. He scored the highest in his platoon.
